Tuesday, March 23, 2021 (Broomfield, CO) – On behalf of all the Broomfield County Republican Party, hearts go out to everyone in the Boulder Community.  This was a needless tragedy that happened too close to home, in our sister city.

“We cannot begin to comprehend the feelings that are going through our friends in Boulder,” Nick Kliebenstein, Chairman of the Broomfield GOP, sadly stated.  “I’ve gone to that King Soopers many times before going for a hike with my daughters in the nearby foothills.”

“At this time, we don’t know all the details, and don’t want to assign motive as the investigation goes forward; but it is important that we remember and pay tribute to the victims and not the aggressor.”

“Let us not forget the heroic efforts of Officer Eric Tally, (father of 7), who was first on the scene and paid the ultimate price for his service as a Boulder Police officer,” Nick says.

“I hope our friends in Boulder know that we are here for them, in anything they may need,” Kliebenstein said.
