Guest Speaker Kathleen Chandler
Kathleen Chandler is the Director of the Independence Institute’s Citizen Involvement Project. She is also a political consultant and professional volunteer for conservative issues and candidates. She has a degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and has been involved in politics for many years.
In the fall of 2024, Kathleen was elected to the Regional Transportation District (RTD) for District F, encompassing most of Aurora, CO. This billion-dollar agency oversees the eight-county metro area's light rail and bus services. This is a four-year term.
As Kathleen continues to use her influence to further fiscal sanity, she also wants to see CO become CO again.
